Summer celebrations return with My Cape Town Market at the Company’s Garden

The My Cape Town Market at the Company’s Garden returns from 16 to 20 December 2025, bringing five festive days of shopping, delicious food, live entertainment, and summer celebrations to the heart of Cape Town. The market runs from 17:00 to 22:00 on Tuesday to Friday, and 16:00 to 21:00 on Saturday, at 19 Queen Victoria Street, Cape Town CBD, with free entry for all.
This year’s market aims to be a celebration of community, culture and creativity. Vendors who produce delicious food, handmade crafts, and other unique goods are urged to submit their applications.
Brought to you by the City of Cape Town’s Economic Development and Investment Department, the market will feature over 100 local vendors offering a wide variety of goods, including fashion, food, homeware, crafts and bespoke design.
Visitors can enjoy a proudly Capetonian entertainment line-up, featuring favourites such as Jarrad Ricketts, Theo Watt, drag comedian Odidi, and a special tribute performance by Leslie Kleinsmith, Lyndall Kearns, and Romaine Robeiro as the closing act. The market also showcases daily buskers, adding energy and street-level talent throughout the garden.‘This market is the perfect place for small businesses to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship, sell their goods, and connect with new customers. It’s also a chance for locals and visitors to come out and support our homegrown talent, because this is how we build an economy that works for all,’ said Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth, Alderman James Vos.
With live entertainment, local flavours, family-friendly activities, and over 100 unique vendors, residents and visitors are encouraged to join in the festive fun and experience one of Cape Town’s signature summer events.
